Inspired by Christian Lacroix

Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

This version of Twelfth Night is set very loosely at the time of writing but more importantly is inspired by Christian Lacroix, French fashion and costume designer. Lacroix is known for his use of bold colours and combinations of patterns in the his fashions lines starting in the late 1980s and continuing for over two decades. He took inspiration from his art history education, knowledge of historical garments, and experience as a costume designer for opera, theatre, and dance for his haute couture collections.
